Movimenti in tempo
It is the first edition of a choreographic festival born from the desire to give visibility to the exponents of the Italian "underground" panorama, with a rich three days programme, delivering in Cagliari some suggestions for a new dance. An idea made possible thanks to the enthusiasm and vital energy of artists and staff, prepared to support this project in spite of the lack of resources.
Choreographies differ from each others because of their various stylistic codes and often joining the language of dance to the one of video and picture, but all of them verge on or face the theme of the feminine universe. Dancer Giacomo Calabrese takes his search cue from the mythological figure of Medea and inside the two works by Caranas 108 Dance Company, are explored the many-sided colours of women's relationships.
A feminine "listening" is also the background on which rises the work by Marisa Grande, whose memory is the body's memory, of skin, flesh and bones. Gabriella Maiorino in her "soliloquy" shows us solitudes which too often are declined in the feminine and Angela Torriani Evangelisti deals with the obsession and violence inherent to woman's soul.
