Tears of glass explores the thin shadow line of the relationships between women, in a delicate mixture of poetry, music and images.

The themes of complicity and solidarity are described through fragments of a dance that, feeding on the forms of contact and butoh, manages to be both descriptive and profound.
Digging through a catalogue of intimate gestures and secret signals, it reveals them in their disarming simplicity.

Made up of emotions and feeling, Tears of glass shows these two modern Amazons confronting life face to face, twining soul and heart in an intense and passionate hand-to-hand struggle, poetically supported by the original music by trumpet player Paolo Fresu.

A charming pantomime enriched by Paolo Fresu's trumpet, suspended between the traditional image of Sardinian women and its transgression, the janas.
